The Japan Foundation is now developing educational materials called “JF Can- do for Life in Japan”. This targets at acquisition of basic Japanese communication skills necessary for daily life in Japan for non-native Japanese speakers such as the foreigners residing in Japan as the status of ‘specified skilled worker’. The educational materials will be open on website of the Japan Foundation at the end of March 2020.
*What is “Can- do”?
The educational material developed by the Japan Foundation categorizes the topics by the ability (Can-do) of carrying out daily tasks.
