New Khmer Architecture, the Cambodian architectural modern movement in the 1950-60s, is gathering international attention in the past few years. Recent researches revealed that many Japanese experts took part in this movement; from design phase to construction, and from research projects to urban planning. The exhibition “New Khmer Architecture and Japan” is aiming to showcase this Cambodian-Japanese architectural collaboration, based on the drawings and documents discovered in Japan.
