The Japan Foundation and Social Compass have conducted the animation workshop for Cambodian students supported by Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the Royal University of Fine Arts.
Currently, many Cambodian youth are really interested in animation and they have many opportunities to watch them through SNS and websites. Now it is a good timing to bring up the new educational environment to Cambodia about making animation. Through this workshop we hope the participants would be able to create original Cambodian animation by themselves and learn much from the lecturers.

4th workshop on 8 October 2016. Mr. Haruki Kasugamori, animation director, came from Japan to give students a lecture on animation. And H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona – Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, visited the workshop as well.
